The SINUMERIK Connector is a south bound connector of Industrial Edge that can be used to collect high and low frequency data from SINUMERIK CNCs with 

  • up to 100 high frequency data points (Tags)
  • low frequency data points, synchronized by the position control cycle time
  • high speed context information like active tool or offset
  • most minimal additional load to the SINUMERIK CNC
This connector is developed as Connectivity Suite Connector and therefore supports standardized configuration and data transfer. 

The connector is configured with the Common Configurator, which is available free of charge in the Industrial Edge Marketplace.

Industrial Edge app developers and Industrial Edge app users can utilize the data in their own applications and services. The Industrial Edge Connectors provide a unified data interface, reducing development effort for Industrial Edge apps and serving as the basis for innovative and modular software solutions.

Entitlement
A subscription for this Industrial Edge App entitles to:
  • create one (1) single instance of this Industrial Edge App on an Industrial Edge Device; and to
  • connect one (1) single SINUMERIK CNC via Industrial Edge Device's machine LAN; and to
  • configure up to 100 high frequency data points (Tags); and to
  • configure low frequency data points (Tags)
