Looking for a robust and reliable solution to get comprehensive data recordings from a SINUMERIK CNC based on specific trigger conditions?

The SINUMERIK Data Recorder is an IE App that can be used to record high and low frequency data from SINUMERIK Connector with

Up to 100 high frequency data points (Tags)
Low frequency data points, synchronized by the position control cycle time
High speed context information like active tool or offset
Storing the recordings as zipped files on the local hard disk
Publishing the recorded data to the IE databus for further processing, e.g. sending to external MQTT brokers

Industrial Edge app developers and Industrial Edge app users can utilize the recorded data in their own applications and services. Details regarding the recorded data format can be found in the SINUMERIK Data Recorder manual.

Entitlement
A subscription for this Industrial Edge App entitles to:

create one (1) single instance of this Industrial Edge App on an Industrial Edge Device; and to
record high and low frequency data from one (1) single SINUMERIK Connector via IE Databus

Record deterministic high frequency data being delivered by the SINUMERIK Connector
Record low frequency data being delivered by the SINUMERIK Connector
Record both data qualities synchronized to each other
Record synchronized context information from the machining operation, e.g. active tool, nc block, offset, etc.

Benefits:

Create multiple recording jobs for same or different parts, each job covering a particular machining operation, e.g. finishing milling
Use specific trigger conditions for each job individually to start/stop the recordings, e.g. a specific nc code line
Manage and download the recordings (zip compressed JSON files) via SINUMERIK Data Recorder UI
Use MQTT to stream the data recordings to the IE databus for further processing by other IE Apps
Data to be recorded are provided by the SINUMERIK Connector according to the implementation rules of the Connectivity Suite
